In due Tyne

Sat 18th, Mar 2017

The countdown is on to the next #NutsGoRow event and with just 7 days to go we are hoping, nay praying that the sunshine follows us up the M1 all the way to Newcastle. Newcastle is a location that the team are expecting big things from, the Baker Bros have Geordie ties deep in their blood (don’t let the thick Bristolian accent fool you)… Looking at you Grand Papa Baker, we know you’re up their somewhere wearing the black and white stripes proudly.

Northumberland Street is the name, rowing is the game. For 36 hours, we will be tormenting our bodies and souls to raise money in the name of The Movember Foundation. We are half way through Prostate Cancer Awareness month and we couldn’t sit idly by resting on our laurels without doing our little bit. Everything raised will go towards the big target of raising £100,000 for charity, helping to tackle Prostate Cancer, Testicular Cancer and Inactivity in men.

As well as four young strapping men on show, we have (with a huge thanks to one of our partners Neat Nutrition) great samples of clean nutrition supplements and products on display. So check them out and discover a cleaner and delicious way to bulk up towards your goals.

We are also very proud to announce a new partner! Exciting stuff right?! The guys and gals down at Powertek Services Ltd have come together to donate generators & lights that will guide you (the super generous awesome public) to us all day and all night. Never again will we have to beg the local shops and hotels to charge our speakers and devices. Good news for Mark Gibson and the Spotify returns Taylor Swift will receive… yayyy??

Shout out to our very own Steve Baker and his partner Becky Davey, they both have their birthdays this weekend and we wish them both the happiest of birthdays!
